Forensics and Shot Placement

There's an FBI slideshow floating around the internet right now that I think is very interesting. I would encourage you sheepdogs to check it out.

WARNING: graphic forensic photographs. Slideshow Link

I suppose this is why former operator Larry Vickers says "Speed is fine . . . accuracy is final." Feel to free to comment - I'd love to hear what you fellows think.

Not quite my cup of tea, but I definitely agree with the final statement: one with the will to live can withstand incredible damage. It's a bit of a parallel to one area of my life, except it hasn't done me in.

Very interesting.
This is a good reason why some people alternate, loading their handgun mags with HP and FMJ.
Also, I noticed one of the M4 toting officers had to shoot the guy in the ankle in order to get a killing shot. This is taught by the "Dynamic Duo" (Costa and Haley) of Magpul.
