So college ended for the semester, and I really made a concerted effort to get a blog up and running. I've gotten a wee bit sidetracked, lads . . . researching the genealogical history of mah own ancien' family. 'Tis grand thus far - I've traced the line back to the early 1600s for a certainty. Supposedly, a lad of ours rode with William the Conqueror, too, but I've yet to confirm. So my depressing lack of posts must surely be attributed to my engrossing studies of deeds, etc., from Virginia in the 1600s. Patience a few more days, and I should start blogging in a more fitting manner.
Until then, lads -
J.

It's good to see you on the blogosphere Johnson!
According to a family legend, I'm descended from Robert le Poer, Knight Marshal of Ireland.
However I've yet to establish the connection, due to the lack of literacy in many of my ancestors.

I second Mike's comment! It's so good to finally see your blog out here.
Thank you, thank you . . . we'll see how it goes.

I third the sentiment. I actually checked your old S.O.C.O.M. blog the other day just in case you had posted... but you hadn't. So, I'm glad that you have a new blog with the intent of keeping it up to date.
